Rahul Bulusu is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he works in the GENESYS Lab under the guidance of Professor Kaushik Chowdhury. Prior to joining UT Austin, he received his M.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Computing Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
His research interests include machine learning for next-generation wireless communication and sensing systems, integrated sensing and communications (ISAC), multimodal data fusion, Digital Twins for V2X networks, satellite communications, localization, and networked robotics. His previous research has explored ultra-wideband (UWB) and millimeter-wave (mmWave) sensing, wireless localization, drone-based sensing, multimodal wireless sensing, and low-power backscatter/IoT systems.
